Isa 35:3-4, 3 Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. 4 Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”
In the world, dangers are everywhere. The care God has over His children is sufficient to strengthen their weak hands and defend them from all dangers. The ministers of God are instructed to comfort and encourage God’s people who are ready to faint. David in Psalm 23 in the end of vs 5 confirms 2 things 1. God anointing his head for empowering and 2. filling his cup for provisions, and overflowing for the need of others. As John Trapp says, “…Those that have this happiness must carry their cup upright, and see that it overflows into their poor brethren’s emptier vessels”.
Without a covering, the enemy takes advantage. This is why prayer is important and calling on elders when necessary (Jam 5:14), it brings us under His care. When we don’t PRAY, the enemy PREYS. He who commits himself and his family to the care and protection of God, has no reason to be anxious, he knows he is under God’s care.
