He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

The Importance Of Testimonies

Jhn 9:10-11, 10 Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?” 11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”

After receiving confirmation from the formerly blind man himself, a question naturally arose: “How did this incredible transformation happen?” In his initial account, the man credits his newfound sight to a specific Man named Jesus. He proceeds to give a detailed narrative of how this miraculous event unfolded. This moment presents an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the limitless goodness of God, who extends His love and care even to those who may be considered greater sinners due to circumstances beyond their control.

Unfortunately, in most churches today, there seems to be little to no time set aside for testimonies. A number may even hesitate to share their own testimonies, fearing that they will come across as bragging or that their testimonies are insignificant. However, those who have encountered extraordinary demonstrations of God’s power and goodness, whether in temporal or spiritual matters, should always be ready to share their testimonies. By doing so, they bring glory to God and offer instructions and encouragement. An individual who believes in the power of prayer and God’s response, shares their testimony with others and guides them on how to seek blessings for themselves.
