1Cor 1:27 God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are might.

God is not running for God position. He does not need us, our approval or support to accomplish what He has purposed. God bypassed all the sons of Jesse who appeared to be something from the outside and anointed the unexpected. And God has bypassed the wise, the mighty, the noble, the great, the things that are! And the King of kings says, “I have not chosen these” The warriors with whom He will win the world to Himself like Gideon are the nobodies.

We should therefore not frustrate ourselves trying to dictate how and when He will move. In His own wisdom, He will do what is best through His chosen children whether it makes sense or not. God has put you and I into union with Christ Jesus. Everything we need for life and godliness is in Him. Therefore the focus should not be on how He moves, but that HE MOVES. Gen 18:25 “…Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”
