Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
It is essential to acknowledge and praise the Lord, as He is the source of all good things. We must express gratitude for His character and not overlook His mighty deeds, His capabilities, and His continuous blessings.
As believers, we tend to forget our identity as His children, which prevents us from accessing the privileges available for us. Reflecting on our past triumphs should enable us to give thanks and strengthen our faith. It is so easy to forget the greatness of our God and His store house full of what we need that pertains to life and godliness (2Pet 1:3) and that He is able to do much more than we ask or think (Eph 3:20), that is because “For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luk 1:37). Failing to recognize that our Heavenly Father has already deposited to our account all we need and our job is to withdraw lest we die poor and dishonor His name by forgetting or neglecting. No Father is highly spoken of when their children are walking hungry, naked and sick especially when people know the father has it.
