Exo 18:13 And so it was, on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until evening.
It is exciting and privilege to be used of God. Looking at what the Lord can perform through you and understanding that He did not pick you because of your ability but His ability and power He deposited in you, this is marvelous. 2Cor 4:7 reminds us that, “…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us”
Each of us has a treasure in our earthly vessels. Vessels that can break and yet the Master still chose to use us as JARS OF CLAY. With this in mind, serving the Lord in ministry gives you a sense of worth, fulfillment and excitement. With the God given ability, you would want to serve in every ministry, and being that others see the potential in you, they may invite you to be involved in different ministries to reach people. Here comes a little problem, you can be so stretched that you lose your priorities, balance, and effectiveness. Doing everything does not equal effectiveness. Moses was about to learn that from his father-in-law.
