Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
Christ was tempted in all points (Heb 4:15; 1Joh 2:16); “the lust of the flesh” (Mat 4:2-3); “the lust of the eyes” (Mat 4:8-9); and “the pride of life” (Mat 4:5-6) same temptations we all face summed up as: the World, the Flesh and the Devil. He overcame and conquered the evil one, and in Him we are made more than conquerors.
It’s in our weakness that He is strong to “... to deliver us from the evil one“. By His grace He provides the protection we desperately need (2Cor 12:9). Jam 4:7-8 “7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded”
In the process of knowing God’s power, we ask Him to deliver us from the evil that is in the temptation, relying upon His promise that “He will not suffer us to be tried above what we are able to handle, but with every temptation will He provide us a way of escape“. Everyone is vulnerable to some kind of temptations/trials. The first thing is to know God and His power to overcome then yield to the Lordship of Jesus Christ for our protection from the world, the flesh and the devil (2Cor 10:4-, Phi 2:13-14, Job 23:10).
