1Th 5:16-18, 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you
Every believer is instructed of the foundation to be laid and built upon. If you ever struggle to know what the will of God is for your life, think on these three as your foundation 1. Rejoice always 2. Pray without ceasing 3. In everything give thanks. The order is important for each point feeds off the other. Joyous life leads to constant prayers without complains, constant prayers leads to contentment and thanksgiving, thanksgiving leads back to joy and the circle continues. Joy is for assurance, prayer is for expectation, thanksgiving is for contentment.
Satan’s mission is to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10), believers mission should be rejoice, pray, and give thanks. How can Satan break someone who is constantly rejoicing in all things, praying without giving up and in everything always giving thanks? There is nothing he did to the apostle Paul that diminished these 3. If anything, Paul thrived where he was expected to be defeated. In the end, he had a 3 point testimony, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”( 2Ti 4:7). Three point mission lead to three point testimony. Let us be in God’s will for there Satan has no chance to break us.
