2Chr 20:17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, …
God’s command was that they go against their enemies. This command did not follow with preparation, explanation or strategies, and not even fight but stand still. What soldier would be ready with such a battle plan?
Jehoshaphat’s battle plan was unique, the Lord said “position yourselves” to see God move. The Lord who said the battle is His, will also claim victory over the enemy for Himself. We become more than conquerors when we take over what He has conquered. “…Stand still” is nothing but standing strong in your faith without wavering. It is seeing salvation even when it seems like there is none. God “…who is with you” is the faith booster to combat fear. Rom 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”. Psa 118:6 “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Amen! Lord please help me when my eyes shift away from you and rests on the circumstances around me instead. I know you reign over all things. I believe the battle is yours. Strengthen my faith Lord and keep my eyes steadfast on you alone.
Amen and amen
