Isa 40:29-31, He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength…31 …they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;…
I must admit that I can’t stand hearing the phrase “I am hanging in there” when I asked believers how they are doing. Believers are not called to hang in there, they are encouraged to “STAND” on the promises of God. Cellphone’s battery strength when utilized becomes weak and needs to be charged. That is possible when plugged into the power source. The charging which may take a while renews its strength for it to effectively function again.
God gives power to the faint (those with no power at all) and increases their strength as His people take time off their exhausting life and wait on Him in the word and prayer for recharging. Unplugged cables HANG in there, those who STAND are plugged in, fully charged for the task ahead. Ecc 10:10 “If the axe is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength;…” Believers’ effectiveness in serving is sharpened by the word and prayers.

An excellent analogy brother Evans.
