Acts 3:1-16, 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all
Faith is not a formula or a recipe to get right or make it complicated. One area faith is manipulated is when it’s tied to sowing “seed faith” to get your prayers answered. In other words, how you sow dictates what kind of faith you have. It almost sounds like you must have faith in your faith to be blessed. Many are miserable because they have been told their faith was not strong to receive. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness (Rom 4:3, Gal 3:6, Jam 2:23).
The lame man in Acts 3 believed and was healed, he gave no amount for his faith, if anything, even the faith to believe was a gift as we will see later in the same chapter. Faith in simple definition is trust or confidence in something or someone, in this case, God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). Faith is only as good as to who you reliably put it on.
