Num 12:1 Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married, for he had married a Cushite woman.
Life always presents two sides in opposition to each other. You know you are outvoted the moment the majority dictates the outcome of good or bad, true or false. Miriam, a prophetess and Aaron, a priest were Moses’ siblings. Miriam was instrumental in Moses’ safety when he was born. But at one point Miriam and Aaron spoke against their younger brother Moses. They opposed his marriage to a woman of a tribe they did not approve of. God had no problem with Moses’ wife unlike them. They deemed their positions as elders and used of God gave them the grounds to approve or disapprove his way of living.
At times certain people may want to conform you into their way, and when they can’t, they may speak against you. They may not care of what is good for you that is God’s will for your life just what is good for them. If you are in God’s will, don’t let what others think or dictate how you should live. Strive to please God rather than men.
