Psa 30:5 … Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning
I have attended many graduation ceremonies, including my own. Graduations are joyful occasions where we witness someone achieving a significant milestone, surrounded by loved ones. The journey leading up to this moment involved hard work, sleepless nights, endless projects, and studying. There were moments of doubt, but perseverance was key in reaching the goal. What stands out to me is that the plan remained unchanged; one had to find the strength and confidence to see it through.
When things become difficult, we often wish for change or divine intervention. However, it is important to understand that the process we go through is essential for our growth. The journey shapes us and leads us to the desired outcome. While there may be moments of hardship, it is crucial to endure and not be derailed from our path. Endurance is necessary to overcome challenges.
The night symbolizes loneliness, darkness, and uncertainty. It can feel never-ending, especially when the dawn seems far away. Just like students preparing for exams, more endurance is required as they approach the finish line. The road may be tough, but giving up is not an option. The joy of success awaits at the end, and it is worth enduring the hardships to reach that moment of triumph.
