The book of Hebrews opens with God’s supreme revelation. And throughout the book it establishes Jesus and His message to be above the prophets, angels, priests etc. Some signs, dreams, acts, audible voices were for a time and a season in history, however they were not rolled out by the Lord as normative means for us to look to.
