1Tim 3:14-16, 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
Pillar number 1.God was manifested in the flesh: First, the virgin birth is essential to Christian doctrine. If Joseph had anything to do with Mary’s pregnancy, then Jesus as we are in Adam would have been born sinful (Rom 5:12). God was manifested in the flesh in the form of a servant, the fashion of a man, conceived in the womb, born after 9 months, lived as a baby, teenager into manhood for 33 years. He lived a sinless life here on earth.
Second, the deity of Christ, God/Man is under attack, some in WOF movement believe that Christ did not come as God but was Man who grew up into perfection, into Godhood, that’s heresy. God was pleased to manifest Himself to man, by His own Son taking the nature of man. He came in the likeness of man as the last Adam not second for our redemption, (1Cor 15:45). Sound doctrine of Christ leads to salvation.
