2Chr 20:16 Tomorrow go down AGAINST them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel
God already in the last verse assured Jehoshaphat that the battle is the Lord’s and not his. Why would they still go against the enemy? Truth be told, we still face our enemies regardless of the assurance of the Lord.
The battle God is involved in, His people cannot lose. The boat the Lord is in cannot capsize “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…“ (2Ch 16:9). We can fight scared and still be victorious. Victory comes to those that seek God and go against the impossible as instructed. It’s at the battleground that victories unfold before your eyes, mountains melt like wax in His presence. It is therefore fit that He who commands deliverance should give the necessary orders, both for time and place. To be in the battle is not to be the glorious instruments but a witness of the total defeat of the enemy.

Amen! Thank you for this encouraging word. I will take it with me and remind myself of it as I go.
Praise be to God who knows how to encourage His people.
