2Chr 20:15 Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s
Men’s inability open doors for God’s abilities to shine. God shows Himself powerful on behalf of those that shift from self reliance to total trust and confidence in Him.
Jehoshaphat confession, “…our eyes are upon thee”, that was an eye of acknowledgment in humble submission to God. An eye of faith and entire dependence on God in prayer. An eye of hope and patient expectation from God.Psa 25:1-2 “To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul: 2. O my God, I trust in You: Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me” As they prayed, God sent a message to them not to be afraid or dismayed. Now fear is the absence of courage, the enemy uses it to cripple believers. Fear threatens faith but God gives assurance as the remedy for fear,“…for the battle is not yours, but God’s”. His words of comfort makes a difference. Isa 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”
