Eccl 2:24 Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God
In various circles, there are believers who equate God’s move by great miracles. And while miracles are good and most necessary and should be prayed for, we should value providence even more.
Providence is the means by which we learn that God governs all things in the universe. The doctrine of divine providence asserts that God is in complete control of all things. God governs by providence every aspect of our lives even the good we enjoy, Acts 17:28 ”for in Him we live and move and have our being…” The strength to wake up, work, drive, obey, manage family affairs, finances, wisdom, etc are all from the hand of God. What has God done for you lately?, you are alive. Solomon having surveyed the totality of his life summed up that not only does God provide the means, He also provides the abilities to accomplish and enjoy. It’s one thing to have it and not enjoy, it’s another thing to have it and enjoy. That is all credited to God
