Mar 10:46-52, 49 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Blind beggar Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was passing by. With knowledge of Jesus as a miracle worker, he seized the moment to call on Him for healing. The multitude who should have offered him help bid him to be quiet. He was blind, however, he employed other senses that were not impacted, that is, he was not deaf or dumb. He would not wait for special help for not even one person offered it to him.
Moments like these, unusual grace and closeness to the Lord will come, but understand that voices present will bid you to be silent or even drown your prayers. Those are the times you need to raise your voice even more as the blind man did. Let not such opportunities slip by you. He who desires to serve God must overcome all earthly noises, shame and fear; for, indeed the unworthy feelings keeps many back from Christ. Let those who feel their need of Him cry the more; otherwise they will come short of a cure.

People never like when the “normal” is disrupted. But as believers we must constantly seek and do God’s will Regardless of the discomfort it causes to others.
Wow. Great insight here. Thanks brother Evans! ????
