Mark 5:36 …Do not be afraid; only believe
Our Lord purposely delayed so as to heal the woman with the issue of blood in order that the actual death of Jairus’ daughter might take place; and that full demonstration of His resurrection power might be seen.
The bigger the miracle, the greater the faith. Jairus perhaps imagined Jesus only as a healer (period) however (comma)“ but just as Jesus said, “I Am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). In John 1:4 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men”. The gift of life, the restoration of life, and salvation can no man give to another. If Jesus has power to give life, that’s an indication that nothing is impossible with Him especially knowing that He rose from the dead.
If you are frustrated because you called on God while situations were still bearable, understand that God is able, more than able. If you trusted Him with some things and they died before He reached them, remember, it’s not over until He says so. With God it is just the beginning of greater things. Mark 5:36 “…Do not be afraid; only believe”. When fear and doubt knocks, let faith answer the door.
