It is by correct information that we act in wisdom. It is risky to not have good wise counsel. They who have no governing body fall like leaves because there is a need for learning, structure, and order for there to be safety.
The purpose of abundance or a multitude of counselors is to provide safety nets, checks, and balances. It is important to listen to different approaches and views and to carefully weigh things before making decisions. What one may miss, another may hit upon; and, if they agree in their advice, it may be the more depended upon. Big court cases utilize jurors; they all listen to the case, then they sit and talk it over from different angles, providing useful information that will guide them to an agreement.
In our private affairs, we shall often find it is to our advantage to have advice with many. If they agree with their advice, our way will be more clear. If they differ, we shall hear what is to be said on all sides and be better informed in order to determine. Good information from a number of counselors help make good decisions.
