Jesus was one day teaching (essential), in Luke 5, and there, Pharisees and teachers of the law sat by to watch. These were the individuals who opposed Jesus’ ministry, continually hoping to take fault with Him to discredit His miracles. Amid all the opposition, arguments, all reasoning, their unbelief, “the power of the Lord was present to heal them”, that is those He had given faith because they were open. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
In countless cases since the Bible was written, God has worked miracles that have been witnessed by the best men and women of those centuries. They left us a monument of testimonies as witnesses that God still answers prayers.
It’s in seeking God’s kingdom first that these other things such as healing are added to us. They are not added because we seek His kingdom, it’s while we are seeking His kingdom first that He does add them. We put our focus on Him. Healing is a byproduct not the focus. In addition, let us not shy away from asking the Lord for a touch despite all oppositions because healing still happens. The power of God has never ceased. It’s not gone cold or put out. It’s still burning changing lives and healing the sick.

Very true. While we are on the assignment given to us on earth and in worship, we shall truly experience God’s miracles that are in many forms(healing, blessings, deliverance and salvation) we must be in service seeking him when these things come to us.
